Donated by the Memorial Park Association, this watercolor of Memorial Park features the LIFE Statue and was painted by local landscape architect and artist Chris Flagg. Measures 13"x10.5", framed 20"x15.5". 

About the artist:

Chris Flagg has demonstrated an inherent creativity throughout his professional career. As a Fellow in the Landscape Architecture profession, he continually blends beauty with functionality in ways that inspire and motivate one’s inner sense of discovery. His award-winning design ability has touched the lives of many, and his passion for watercolor transcends even his ability to inspire. 

His subjects range from urbanscapes to nautical themes, always demonstrating a keen sense of observation. Because he understands the value of graphic communication, his artistry conveys a combination of reality and expression that fully realizes the beauty of the subject. His love for watercolor and working en plein air enables a sense of spontaneity to flourish freely in his work, and his understanding of subjects adds a sense of realism and depth.
