A stunning, watercolor artwork by local artist Teresa Cook. This piece is 5x7 but comes ready to hang or display in a 8x10 frame.

From the artist:
"I love the arboretum. I love seeing the atmosphere, that ties all my sensory cues into one. This watercolor is painted on “Yupo” paper, that gives the same iridescent look as the lily pads floating in the water."

Teresa Cook is born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She is an Abstract Architectural Watercolor artist and has been painting watercolor since 2012. She obtained her BFA from University of North Florida in 2012. Over the last 10 years, she has been traveling to different countries as well as around her native city. She creates mini watercolor abstractions, but she has always found pleasure in the landscapes and buildings that have been created over time. Each of her watercolor and ink paintings are created on a smooth paper called, “Yupo”,  are meant to capture a moment in time without the interruption of people. You will not see much human interaction within her art.  She just traveled to Amsterdam for the 2019 Urban Sketchers Symposium(USK Symposium), and then Puerto Rico in 2021. She is an Art Instructor at local places here in Jacksonville, and her workshops are now in session for 2023. Visit Teresa's website here, https://teresacook.net/
